Message from Eric Evans
Dear fellow DDDers,
I'm excited about some new developments, especially the launch of my company Domain Language's public classes in the U.S. These classes have been offered for years as on-site training, and have been available in the UK and Sweden for the last year. This month we will begin a series of classes in New York. We will expand to a few other US cities later in the year.
It's wonderful to see the community grow, and these classes are one more way to help spread the ideas.
We've taken the liberty of subscribing you to our newsletter (you can unsubscribe with [UNSUBSCRIBE]). The newsletter will keep you informed about us and the DDD world. Please visit the recently updated community site, http://www.domaindrivendesign.org  http://www.dddcommunity.org, which has some great content, a discussion area, an RSS feed and more.
Thanks for your continued interest in DDD. I look forward to seeing you at an event.
Best regards,Eric Evans

The DDD Overview is a one day course that teaches DDD's basic principles, goals, and value. The course covers the day-to-day activities of a development team, and strategic design. There are no technical prerequisites. Developers, architects, CIOs, and CTOs have all attended this class and come away with a deeper appreciation for DDD and its usefulness to their organization.
The DDD Hands-on Immersion teaches development team members how to apply DDD on their projects. We use proven hands-on activities that hone skills in brainstorming models, making models clearer and more rigorous, and expressing them in code. Developers, analysts, project managers, and, importantly, the business domain experts who deal with a DDD team can all participate fully.
These classes are an excellent introduction to DDD or a next step for those who have read about it and want to deepen their understanding.
DDD Exchange – A Focused One-day Conference in London
The last year saw successful DDD tracks at Oredev and Qcon. On June 19th in London there is DDD Exchange, a full day of presentations on DDD, with keynote by Eric Evans. DDD Exchange.
Local Groups Forming
In New York, London, and Stockholm, DDD enthusiasts have formed groups to connect their local DDD communities. The DDD Community site is providing a page to help get the word out. If you are organizing a local group, you'll want to take advantage of that at local groups.
In fact, if you are organizing any DDD-related event, including for-profit events if they are open to the public, take advantage of the community site by asking them to put an announcement on their events page.
